EVENT CANCELLED
As per Black Swamp Intertribal Foundation:
“Hello and Greetings To All –
It is with deep sadness that the Black Swamp InterTribal Foundation announces the 23rd Woodland Indian Celebration is cancelled for the year 2025.
This was not a very easy decision to make but with only 3 months till the event dates we have no choice due to several factors including the following:
Funding - grants and funds that the BSIF have gotten for many years were cutback with the massive changes this year to the Arts, Humanities, Education and Sciences. Grants in all four of these fields that the BSIF used were eliminated.
Health - recent serious health issues have affected several members of the BSIF.
Venue - there have been some venue concerns.
We are very grateful and thankful for all the support over the past 22 years and we hope and pray we see you all in 2026.
