RB Textile Conservation Rebecca Beyth is a conservator specializing in textiles. She works out of lab space in South Orange, Referrals to other conservators are available if needed.

She is located in New York City, NY with lab space in South Orange, NJ. Rebecca has over 8 years experience in the conservation of carpets, tapestries, quilts, coverlets, bed covers, samplers, embroideries, flags, costume and other flat textiles. Rebecca was trained at the University of Delaware for undergraduate and received her masters from the Fashion Institute of Technology. In addition, she h

as interned and worked in numerous museums and conservation labs. Rebecca has worked for many different kinds of clients including museums, historic houses and private clients. Recent projects have included a 16th century Islamic carpet, an 18th century embroidered bed cover and WWII Army Air-force maps. Rebecca provides pre-treatment examinations, written condition reports and proposals, treatment discussion, exhibition and storage preparation, preventative conservation and treatment.
