Thank you to everyone who visited the museum today and participated in our Silent Auction!

The museum is now closed for regular admission as we prepare for this evening's ticketed fundraiser event. Ticket holders may begin arriving at 5:30 PM to explore the museum, visit with our board member docents, enjoy refreshments, and find their seats before the program begins.

The Dinner & Show will take place from 6:00–8:00 PM, with the performance beginning around 6:30 PM. Silent Auction bidding will remain open until 7:30 PM, at which time bidding will officially close.

Winning bidders will be notified either later this evening or next week, depending on when items can be processed.

We look forward to a wonderful evening and thank everyone for supporting the museum!

A quick note for those joining us tonight for Paranormal Investigations Night at the museum!

Please enter through the museum’s normal side double doors, where you’ll be welcomed by Museum Co-Director Josh Dacey and investigator Susan Sheets to get everyone checked in and started for the evening.

As always, we ask guests to be respectful of the museum, exhibits, and one another throughout the experience—but we absolutely encourage participation and curiosity!

We hope you enjoy this unique opportunity to experience the museum in a completely different way. See you tonight!

A quick Kids Gallery update!

We know summer break is here, and we know some of our youngest visitors are more than ready to have their space back. Thank you all for being patient with us while the room is temporarily closed.

As a small part-time staff, we’re working as quickly as possible and are aiming to reopen within the next three weeks. This first phase has focused on necessary cleanup, repairs, and improvements to make sure the space is safe, refreshed, and ready for lots of play and learning.

Once reopened, we’ll continue making updates over time to create more opportunities for guided play, exploration, and hands-on experiences focused on childhood on the Greene frontier.

We’ll keep everyone updated as we make progress—we’re excited to welcome the kiddos back soon!
