We are committed to the fostering of creativity and the cultivation of contemporary art through diverse exhibitions, studio space for artists, expansive educational programming, and a multidisciplinary approach to the dialogue between artists and audience. sts to provide individual artists with a professional and productive environment for artisans, 24 hour facility access, developing and maximizing off-premise visibility for artists, and developing a gathering space for the Guilford County art community. These artisans work in a rental studio space that is open to the public at times of Uptown Artworks art exhibition, special events and programming, and at the artist’s discretion. These showcases are designed to promote the diversity of talent, artist and crafts persons within Uptown Artworks, that work in a broad spectrum of disciplines and perspectives who may also choose to work together at times and share ideas, as well as the studio space. The Uptown Artworks facility, located 1007 Arnold Street within Uptown Greensboro, features 2 bathrooms, large roll up dock doors for delivery or export of large pieces, as well as wi-fi Internet access, all of which is included in the rent for the studio spaces. Studio spaces can be leased bi-monthly, for 6 months, or for one year and rental rates include utilities. The studios are strictly non-live spaces, though artist have 24 hour access to their individual spaces. UPDATE! We are doing 2 REIGN SUPREME ART BATTLES in May... Friday, May 12th (7-10pm) is the 1st battle for artist 21+ and the 2nd battle is the following day, Saturday May 13th (12-3pm) for the youth (12-19)!!!

If you were in our last battle, you can apply, BUT we are looking for a whole new crew of artist that want to battle and past artist, can be the backup if we fall short or an artist falls out!
CASH PRIZE for 1st and 2nd place!
