WALKING THE CUBAN TIGHTROPE 🇨🇺🇨🇺

WALKING THE CUBAN TIGHTROPE is a love poem to the Cuban people, to their artistic soul and their relentless struggle for freedom and dignity.

We’re excited to show this film in tandem with our exhibition of the artwork of Joherms Quiala Brooks. His work depicts his life and experiences in Cuba 1998-2001. The film, released 2024, explores the changes that two decades have brought to Cuban life.

We are so excited to welcome back the wonderful to the gallery for another Cuban Jazz night. Join us for a night of melody and fantastic artwork from Joherms Quiala Brooks. This event is a BYOB event so please feel free to bring refreshments to enjoy.

We would also like to thank for their involvement in this event. , founded in 1997, has spent over 25 years building bridges between cultures in South Carolina. Through language schools, cultural events, creating business connections, and welcoming services, they help build and reinforce a global community. They represent 40 countries and have over 450 active community members.
