Arts Meriwether Collective Announces Community Water-Themed Art Exhibition at Artisans on the Square

The Arts Meriwether Collective is proud to present a county-wide water-themed art exhibition opening Saturday, May 16, and continuing through June 20 at Artisans on the Square Gallery in Greenville, Georgia.

The public is invited to attend the free opening celebration on Saturday, May 16 from 1 to 4pm, featuring refreshments and a creative booth where children can make art using recycled materials while supporting local artists, students, and environmental awareness throughout Meriwether County.

Bringing together art, environmental awareness, and community collaboration, the exhibition will feature work from more than 45 local artists and more than 150 artworks inspired by water, aquatic ecosystems, sustainability, and the natural beauty of the region.
The exhibition will also feature a collaborative masterpiece created by Meriwether County middle school students, constructed from reused single-use plastics collected within the community.

This exhibition celebrates local creativity, environmental awareness, and the power of community collaboration.

Come see 'Epic Battles’ with Jeff Lowe’s Toy Soldiers Collections The exhibit will be on display until January 17, 2026 at Artisans on the Square Gallery, located in downtown Greenville, GA, across from the courthouse.

This exhibit is for all ages and all sorts of different interests, people who know every aspect of historic battles will enjoy it because the battle scenes are highly accurate. Serious collectors will appreciate every detail and accuracy of the soldiers as well as people who hand paint their toys and of course, the general audience who enjoys a glorious display of epic battle scenes.

Gallery hours are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 11am to 5pm. The exhibit is free to public and there will be tables with toy soldiers so children can play.
