Thirty-plus years in, and RISK still makes art like it’s urgent - Kelly Graval was the first artist to bring freight car graffiti to the West Coast, after hitchhiking to New York in the ‘80s to tag subway cars. That same raw, spray-can energy now shows up in his fine art. His visual language has shown up in music videos, The World Cup, Coachella and beyond.
