Standing in front of Dance (I) at The Museum of Modern Art was such a reminder of how powerful simplicity can be. The movement, the color, the energy between the figures — timeless, emotional, and completely captivating. ✨

1 WEEK UNTIL OPENING✨

Jon Schueler, Wing Ice Shadows, Feb1988, oil on canvas, 24hx46w inches (o/c 1525).
Capturing the fleeting, atmospheric beauty of the sky Schueler (1916-1992) translates the ephemeral nature of light and mist into a powerful visual experience. Known for his love with the Scottish sky, Schueler’s work bridges the gap between abstract expressionism and the raw observation of the elements.

In Wing Ice Shadows, the horizontal canvas allows the eye to wander through layers of cool tones and soft transitions, evoking the feeling of looking through clouds from a high-altitude perspective. It is a masterclass in light, shadow, and the “magical” qualities of the atmosphere.

Dario Campanile, “Don’t Look Back”, 2025, oil on canvas, 30hx40w

A true “Roman Master,” as titled by Salvador Dalí, Campanile’s career spans over 60 years of technical brilliance and spiritual evolution. He is famously known for being commissioned to redesign the iconic Paramount Pictures logo for its 75th anniversary. While his early mastery lay in Realism and Surrealism, Campanile has since shifted his focus entirely to Abstract Expressionism, seeking a more direct, unconscious form of expression that he describes as his most “pure and daring” work to date.

"Sublime Landscapes” , 96 Greenwich Avenue, Greenwich, CT. Exhibition runs through November 30th.

Jennifer Williams' Broadway & 20th captures the pulse of the city in a way that feels both dream-like and intensely present. Rendered in oil on metal the piece shimmers with reflective blues and warm amber tones evoking the energy of a rainy Manhattan street, where light bends buildings and dissolves into atmosphere and movement becomes a kind of poetry.

"Sublime Landscapes” , 96 Greenwich Avenue, Greenwich, CT. Exhibition runs through November 30th.

Pictured is "Manhattan In Blue", oil on metal, 36 x 48 in. A sweeping vision of New York immersed in deep indigo tones—Williams captures the pulse and poetry of Manhattan from above, transforming its skyline into a dreamlike sea of geometry and light. The cool blues invite quiet reflection while echoing the city’s endless energy and rhythm.

Oil on metal, 36 x 48 in.

An atmospheric meditation on New York’s Central Park, Jennifer Williams captures the delicate moment where city and sky dissolve into reflection. Her brushwork on metal creates a luminous surface — a balance between the structured skyline and the serenity of water.
Williams, an Australian-American artist, is known for merging realism with abstraction to evoke memory, movement, and light. Gilded Horizon feels both timeless and immediate — a quiet pause amid the pulse of the city.

To What End Does This Pain Continue? (o/c 1492), May 1987
Oil on canvas, 36 x 48 in. , 96 Greenwich Avenue, Greenwich, CT

Color becomes emotion in motion — shifting skies of rose, coral, and blue sweep across the canvas with both energy and calm. Schueler captures the meeting point between sea, sky, and spirit, where nature mirrors the rhythm of our own moods. A painting that feels alive — radiant, searching, and full of light.
