It is so encouraging to see children having fun at the Redwine Pioneer Schoolhouse. Some of us remember the waning days of the one room schoolhouse. A favorite tradition was the annual box supper. Girls made a special lunch and packed it in a beautifully decorated shoebox. Boys bid on the lunches. The winning boy got to share the box lunch with its creator. Anyone recall those days?

Jerry Harris Moore, our June 15 presenter, is an educator, historian and former radio personality. A 1968 Mansfield graduate, Jerry went on to acquire a Master's Degree. He is steeped in the rich history of Huntington, which he will share with us. Pictured is Huntington's Phyllis Wheatley School, the school for African American children during Segregation. All are welcome.
