Celebrating the Fathers of Greenwood’s Past & Present 🌳
This Father’s Day weekend, the Greenwood Historical Society wants to take a moment to honor the generations of fathers who helped build, shape, and preserve our wonderful community.
Whether they were pioneers, local business owners, or simply the steady hands that built the homes we live in today, their legacy lives on in every corner of our town. We are so grateful for the history they left behind and for the opportunity to help tell their stories.
To all the dads, grandfathers, and father figures in the Greenwood community: thank you for being a part of our history and our future. We wish you a wonderful and relaxing weekend!

We are so incredibly grateful to everyone who came out yesterday to celebrate the Greenwood Historical Society’s 50th Anniversary with us! It was such a joy to see so many familiar faces and welcome so many new ones to the Depot.
A huge, heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by to support our Depot Museum bake sale and sloppy Joe lunch. We were overwhelmed by the turnout and your continued generosity!
To our amazing bakers and our dedicated volunteers who worked so hard behind the scenes to make this milestone anniversary possible—we simply couldn’t have done it without you.
