Spent Veterans Day weekend in our favorite place. Hit some places we’ve bypassed before...The Colorado Music Hall of Fame at Red Rocks, the grave of Buffalo Bill Cody (he’s buried on Lookout Mountain, west of Denver), drove some of the Lariat Loop, and, of course, drove through some of Rocky Mountain National Park. Sadly Trail Ridge Road closed for the winter at Many Park Curve just 3 weeks ago. Still, it was a good trip.

Out of the country for the first time since 1959 when the Air Force sent my dad and our family to Morocco. My wife, Margaret, and I are in South Korea visiting our son and daughter-in-law for two weeks. We've been to Seoul, a city of 26 million people, a couple of times. Once to see Gyeongbokgung Palace, which was built in 1395, and once to visit the Korean War Museum. Saturday we went on a tour of the DMZ (the Demilitarized Zone.) That was a very eye-opening experience. Looking forward to the Lantern Festival in Seoul this weekend.
