Tuesday, April 21! Surely spring will have sprung by then and we’ll all be raring to go. What better destination than the Clark Art Institute Williamstown, MA, with the Friends of the Guilford Library.
Well known for its extraordinary collections of American and European art, the Clark has recently been redesigned and enhanced by the brilliant Japanese architect Tadao Ando. A July 10, 2014 New York Times has a rave review by Roberta Smith:

The bus will leave the commuter parking lot (north side) on Route 77 at 7:30 a.m. and arrive back in Guilford approximately 6:30 p.m. The $68 fee includes everything except lunch, which we’ll have between Museum tours in the Clark’s Café Seven.
Sign up through April 1st at the Library Circulation Desk (203) 453-8282. Full payment required by check (made out to Friends of the Library), cash or credit card. Friends reserve the right to cancel should there be insufficient registration. There will be NO REFUNDS unless the ticket can be resold.
For more information call Penny Colby (203) 457-0528 or Lee Granger (203) 453-6245.
