It’s that time of year to celebrate all of the amazing teachers who pour so much into our kids every single day. Now that my kiddos have officially given their gifts, I can finally share this special project.

Once your kids hit middle school, gifting feels a little different since they each have 6 teachers. We usually keep things simple and thoughtful, but they both have one teacher who has such a meaningful part of their story. My daughter has been in her class for the last 3 years, and my son will have her for the next 2. She’s one they will never forget.

These pillows were such a joy to make for my Gulf Breeze Lookbook.

offers a Block of the Month series, and the blocks are the perfect size for turning into pillows…quick, satisfying, and a beautiful way to bring your sewing into your everyday spaces.

I especially love the Summer Blooms pillow, with the fussy-cut flamingo right at the center. It felt like the perfect way to highlight one of my favorite prints from the Gulf Breeze collection and add a playful, personal touch to my home.

This quilt was such a joy to make

I used the Scrappy Starlight quilt pattern by for my Gulf Breeze collection, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect match. It’s quick, it’s playful, and lets each print have its moment.

What I especially loved? Getting to use all 12 prints from Gulf Breeze in one quilt. It gave it that perfectly scrappy, coastal feel that just makes me happy.

I had the absolute joy of collaborating with my talented friend on this project, and I am still blown away. Liza took my original drawings from my Gulf Breeze collection and transformed them into the cutest foundation paper piecing patterns!

Each pattern comes in 4 different sizes, which makes them perfect for everything from small projects to full quilts…and they are SO fun to sew!

Coastal Current is officially here, and I truly could not be more excited to share this one with you.

Inspired by the movement of the sea, this pattern was designed to feel calm, flowing, and timeless…like waves gently rolling onto the shore.

It brings together some of my favorite classic techniques like hourglass blocks, half square triangles, and flying geese, to create a quilt that feels full of motion while still being approachable and fun to sew.

Today we started photographing the Gulf Breeze collection, and it turned into one of those afternoons I wish I could bottle up forever.

My son helped me carry quilts down to the water, chase the light, and capture a few moments for the upcoming lookbook.

Two quilts.
Soft coastal colors.
And the kind of inspiration that only happens near the sea.
