The Brick Reading Railroad is chugging back to the Reading Railroad Heritage Museum! Two weekends only!

This undated photo shows the old Fortuna train station located at the Cowpath Road crossing. The station received its name, the story goes, after a Reading Railroad train struck and killed a cow near the Cowpath Rd. crossing in the late 1880’s. The cow’s owner filed a claim against the railroad and in an out-of-court settlement, the railroad agreed to name the nearby train station after the deceased cow, Fortuna. The old station was replaced in 2017 with the present modern station.
