Hammond's Memorial Day Ceremony will be Monday, May 25th, 11 AM, either in front of the old town hall or at Gipp's Pavilion across the road (if raining). Come join us for some patriotic tunes, short speeches & dedication of 10 more Hammond Hometown Heroes banners. Below is the banner of Sgt. Kenneth Klock, who was killed in action in the southern part of Austria in 1944. May we take the time to remember all of our fallen heroes!

On Saturday, May 2nd, we are one of several places to participate in the "St. Lawrence County Open Doors to History". Our museum will be open from 9-1, and the first few visitors will receive a little memorabilia of the 250th. Our museum board is very thankful to the Sweetgrass Foundation for providing funds to cover 1/3 of the cost to replace the stone house roof. We also want to thank those who responded to our letter/email drive with more funds. Now, we are asking our FaceBook friends to consider donating to this vital project.
