This day in history - On May 29, 1910, Glenn H. Curtiss made his famous flight from Albany to NYC in his aptly named "Albany Flyer." Today, we welcomed New York Times reporter Jesse McKinley, who is collecting background for a story for the 175th anniversary of The New York Times ... The paper covered the first-of-its-kind long-distance flight in at least four editions, one of which ran a six page story.
