SUMMER PAINTING CLASS

Hey artists and painters!
We need a few more folks to sign up still-

A sensational summer season of painting!

In this upcoming Applied Painting class, you will learn the mysteries and incredible beauty of outdoor painting and drawing.
Each Saturday, we will meet up at the art center for a new adventure and create a rich group of paintings for a final show at the art center on July 24th

Painting (Applied) - 5065 - ART 1041 - 01
Taught by Alan Crockett
A course in the introduction to oil and acrylic methods and materials. Exploration of media, color theory, and harmony, and demonstration of techniques and styles of painting.
(AA, CSU) (5065-ART 1041)-This class will be held at the Klamath Siskiyou Art Center, 63709 Hwy 96, Happy Camp, CA.
Associated Term: Summer 2026

Registration Dates:
May 7, 2026, to June 3
Classes from June 6- July 25
Saturdays 9:30 AM to 3 PM

Hey everyone,

Just a quick note to let you know about a fun and informative presentation happening TONIGHT! (WED, SEPT 24) at the Klamath-Siskiyou Art Center from 5:30–7 pm. It’s all about the 12th Annual Klamath River Prescribed Fire Training Exchange (KTREX).

There will be FREE drinks and snacks, along with a lively discussion of this fall’s KTREX plans for controlled burns and fuel treatments (October 5–18).

Hey there, Art Center Supporters,
There's a fun event in the works for The Klamath Siskiyou Art Center coming up on August 1st at 6:30 pm, we're proud to host a unique showing of "Behind the Scenes of Beetlejuice," a look at the sets and makeup from the recent production of Beetlejuice Jr. at our local High School. This is guaranteed to be a fun-filled evening with a delicious dinner to boot!, Please make sure to mark your calendars and spread the word.

SISKIYOU MOUNTAIN CLUB FILM SCREENING
FRIDAY APRIL 11 6 pm

Hey there Art Center Supporters and FILM Lovers!
We've been busy planning some fun events for this summer and are finally ready to start spreading the word!
For our first event, Friday, April 11 at 6 pm, The Art Center is proud to host a special free screening of Siskiyou Mountain Club's brand new film about their trail crews and work in our magnificent nearby wilderness areas

"The Siskiyou Mountain Film Tour features three short documentaries that seek to educate, entertain, and inspire audiences with our stories from the public lands across southwest Oregon and northwest California.
Grimes Goes Wild follows 2024 intern Chloe Grimes as she completes her season as an intern on the Club's Wilderness Corps. Mountaintop Legacy is the story of the Bolan Mountain Fire Lookout, highlighting the rebuild of 2024. National Forests Now tells the story of where National Forests are in 2025."

We are working on a supremely delicious Mediterranean-inspired dinner with Homemade Spanakopita and Grilled Organic Chicken with Fresh Garden Greens to share with you all.
Hope you all can make it out to show your support for this incredible group that is helping keep our trails open.

The Yearly Siskiyou Arts Council's 2024 -X DAYS ARTIST OPEN STUDIO at the Klamath Siskiyou Art Center
SUN NOV 3 from 12-4

Join us and participate in a creative afternoon of Art Demos Art Making, Art Sharing, and Delicious Appetizers and Drinks hosted by your friendly neighborhood Art Center smack dab in the middle of Happy Camp California.
Whether you make art or just want to surround yourself with it this is an event for you.
Local artists will be at tables answering questions, making art, and showing off their new work.
It's a great place to join in the fun and maybe find some great deals on original artwork for the holidays.

The Klamath-Siskiyou Art Center in Happy Camp California will be showcasing a talented group of local artists from up and down the Klamath River for the Siskiyou Arts Council’s X DAYs.
If you want to join us and showcase your work please contact us
But if you just want to come out and show your support for local artists and enjoy a creative and fun Sunday afternoon mark your calendars for November 3rd from 12-4pm.
As always, there will be delicious and inspired appetizers and drinks. And some incredible art demonstrations on art-making techniques and practice.
