I encourage you to try one, two or three flavors for your holiday culinary bonanza. Seriously.

This pastry chef, my baby brother, dreamed of reaching the NBA from age 5 or 6. He was always the sizifus type; hours and hours of shooting into tbe basket at the community center and our front driveway. Years and years. Best three point shooter in Tx, I thought.

Well he did get a full college basketball scholarship. He was an incredible point guard. When he didnt make it to the NBA he moved to cooking. (He loved Emeril and credits him with triggering the cooking passion) After graduating the CIA He honed that passion to the more exact part of cooking -- baking, and a few years later started focusing and perfecting the .

Like the daily practice grind and artistry if basketball, here too, the always fine-tuning repetitive craftsmanship (using seasonal pure organic everchanging raw materials) - requires the same sizifus like determination and practice that almost got him to the National Basketball Association , but certainly led him to the 'NBA' league of .

I'm good with that. I think he is too.
