The Washington County Archives is looking for residents from all walks of life to participate in our upcoming community interview series “Community Voices”. Whether you were or are a teacher, artist, elected official, farmer, business owner, public service, or have a story to tell- we’d love to feature your experience as part of our effort to celebrate Washington County.

Interviews will be shared on our official page to highlight the voices and history that make our community unique.

Since its inception in 1975, the Hartford Historical Group has delivered 50 years of committed service to the Hartford community, focused on preserving historical documents and artifacts that are subsequently used to design educational exhibits highlighting Hartford's unique history. Visitors are invited to explore the Hartford Museum and Civil War Enlistment Center on Saturdays in July and August from 1 to 4pm, where expert tour guides are on hand to provide insight and answer questions.
