Art in the Park is just around the corner!
Get ready to immerse yourself in a weekend of creativity, inspiration, and community spirit at Goffle Brook Park on Saturday, June 13th and Sunday, June 14th from 11:00am – 5:00pm.
What to expect:

Frankie Soto – poet, author, and multidisciplinary artist - Two-time recipient of the Multicultural Poet of the Year Award and winner of the North American Book Award in Poetry for a special artist talk. During this event, Soto will share readings from his bestselling collection Petrichor, along with beloved poems such as Spanglish and What If.

It will be an evening of stories, songs, and sharing.

The Passaic County Arts Center will be closed this week while our staff participates in training designed to better serve our visitors and help preserve Passaic County’s rich history.

We will reopen on Sunday, May 31st, and look forward to welcoming everyone back to the Arts Center soon!

All classes however, will resume as scheduled.

During this event, Basurco will introduce his renowned thriller ‘The Killing Gene’, discuss his creative process, artistic influences, and sources of inspiration. We invite you to join us for an evening of creative discussion.

Last Call! Register today for a special Artist Talk: We are pleased to
welcome author, artist, and community advocate Christine Confort,
who will share insights from her creative journey and artistic
accomplishments.

During this two-hour seminar, Conforti will present a selection of
recent paintings created in traditional and naive styles,
demonstrating how artistic ideas emerge through attentive
observation of everyday life.

She will also perform a live reading of her short story, ‘The Legend of
the Season’ and reflect on its connection to the history of Paterson
and Passaic County, illustrating how artists often draw inspiration
from the character of the communities in which they live.
