About the artists:
A3L3XZAND3R Harris
(b1983) studied in Florence, Italy and is
trained in the tradition of the Florence
Academy. He resides in Sonoma County, California
where he paints and sculpts. He has
produced a wonderful body of landscape
works as well as figure and still lives. His skills are highly regarded and his powerful
original works are widely collected. Marc Cabell Harris
(M.C.Harris)
(b 1950), is known for his modernist paintings. He graduated in 1972 From CCA as a
printmaker, and his etchings were presented
that year in a joint show with the lithographs
of M.C. He has also produced a significant body of
drawings and mixed media expressionist
canvases. " I try to paint with care and joy, but also, I try
to follow R.W. Emerson's advice and cast
aside my vanity so that the soul may be
suitably represented." He resides in Sonoma County Wine country in
California and in Santa Fe, New Mexico. His paintings are widely collected and his
drawings are published in numerous books.
