Board members of the Helena Museum recently unveiled a newly- conserved 1860 flag. The flag was handmade by some of the women of Helena and presented to the local Confederate troop known as The Phillips Guards.
The flag was lost after the Civil War, but in 1892 it resurfaced. The Helena Museum received the flag in 1925.
Come by and see this beautiful Civil Wat artifact.
