Hey y'all. Winter hours mean fewer folks visiting the museum. This is a great time for all our local folks to visit. You can recieve personal tours from one of the volunteers. Our director Tom Lapp will be here and he is a cornucopia of knowledge about everything in the museum. Come visit. We will keep the heat on for ya.

Hey everyone!!! We are operating under winter hours now. And wow is it cold this week. Wednesday thru Friday 1 pm until 5 pm. Saturday 11 till 5 pm.

We will be open Christmas eve. 1 pm until 5 pm. Come on in and see some new and special mineral speciums on display. Two new displays installed in the last few months. Geodes were shinning bright yesterday with some rare and special minerals inside. We can open a few for you for under the tree on Monday and Tuesday.
