1st and 3rd Saturdays 10-1

Our museum, archives and research facilities are open 10-2 Thursdays and 10-1 on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays

We have on display an eclectic collection of artifacts, documents and photographs that have a connection to a Henniker person, place or event. All time periods are represented, from the town's founding in 1768 to the present, but emphasis is generally placed on the earlier periods of the town's history.

Looking for something different to do this Halloween season? Then join us on the Henniker First Murder Tour! Based on the book, "The Untimely Death of Nettie Belle Douglass" by Ellen Reed, we will take you on a bus tour of Henniker and tell you the tragic tale of Henniker's first recorded murder, which occurred in 1894.

The first tour will start at 10:00 am and we will start a new one approximately every 30 minutes as long as there are interested people. The tour is free, but donations are always welcome. Each of the two busses holds 10-12 people, so seating is limited. Signed copies of the book will be available for $20.
