Our PRE BOXES will be available for check out this Saturday during our Little Red Schoolhouse program! Stop by between 10am - 2pm to start your experience.

PRE BOXES are specially designed sensory-friendly kits created by speech-language pathologists, aimed at helping both kids and adults get ready for various experiences through sensory play. Each box is equipped with visual supports that provide essential “tools” for children to enhance their communication skills while having fun. Additionally, parents will receive helpful guidance and tips on how to interact with their children and facilitate their readiness for real-life situations.

The Museum offers PRE BOXES that can be borrowed by the public for up to two weeks. These will be available for checkout at the Little Red Schoolhouse during our craft events, which take place on two Saturdays each month. Boxes can be returned to the Museum’s front desk anytime within the following two weeks. The experiences available are
High Point Museum (available year-round)
Airplane Trips (available year-round)
Road Trips (available year-round)
Fourth of July and Visiting a Farm (available April – August)

This program is free for all ages!
