Summer is here and we have some real OUT OF THE BOX ideas. So buckle up and shake off the mental load haze of the school year. Sign your young artists up for our Summer camps, they are filling up, you can register on our website www.tagart.org We also think you should do something nice for yourself and join us for one of our workshops or classes. We have pottery classes starting and we are partnering with on Fridays for workshops throughout the Summer, these workshops are also listed on our site for you to register for. Saturday, June 6th is loaded with activities and events, we are especially excited to offer "Build with Cardboard: Building Animal Masks". This workshop is free to attend. We have a little bit a lull in our schedule before Summer hits. We are excited about the upcoming workshops and community events that are available for the community and all ages. On top of these unique opportunities that coincide with our current exhibit we have our regular classes and Summer camps available to sign up for. If you cannot commit to a workshop or class that's okay. Just stop in to check out our exhibits "Out of the Box" and the Middle School art exhibit. We would love to see you this Summer.

We hope you had a happy Memorial weekend. This week come see artist as he works on his latest project in our gallery Tuesday - Friday 12 pm - 3 pm. We have a special event planned with on Thursday evening, Portraits and Patios. There is still time to register for this on our site or under our events. We hope to see you this week, we will be closed Saturday, May 30th for some maintenance and we will reopen on Monday for regular hours.

We are thrilled to be a part of The Reading Trail this Summer.
What is The Reading Trail? A community reading event where families visit local business stops, collect stamps on their trail map, and earn prizes for completing the trail. This event will run from June 1st to July 24th.

We will host two PaperPie books in our gallery (a picture book for younger children and a chapter book for older kids), and families stop by to read and collect a unique stamp on their trail map. We hope that you will take this opportunity to explore all the community has to offer families, and we hope that it allows for you all to spend quality time together this Summer.

Summer is coming. It's like Winter is coming but way more fun and has nothing to do with a show. How are you planning on kicking off your Summer? The options are truly wide open, so let us give you a few ideas. The next week we have quite a few workshops and classes for you to try out. Pop over to our events section on Facebook or visit our website. We have a ceramics class with the incomparable Ray Knirs, and morning pottery with Annie Klick who is ready to guide you on your journey with the wheel. And if that's not enough for you, we've cooked up something special with on May 28th, Portraits and Patios. Where artist Liz McKinnon will assist you in creating a unique portrait of your bae, boo, bud, etc. Not only will you create art Earl's is providing drinks and food. Seats are limited so register on our site to reserve yours.
