We had FUN! NKU National Anthropology Day

03/19/2015

Join Us in Celebrating National Anthropology Day Rescheduled: March 19, 2015
Anthropologists are innovators and creative thinkers who contribute to every sector of society. National Anthropology Day is a day for anthropologists to celebrate and participate in the discipline and for others to learn more about what anthropologists do. On February 19th, anthropologists across the globe shared their work to build awareness about our discipline with their communities. However, here in the Northern Kentucky area, we will celebrate on March 19th because our original plans were cancelled by snow and the university closed!
The Museum of Anthropology and the Anthropology Program will celebrate by hosting a public presentation on: This Is Anthropology: Become an Anthropologist! Several consecutive 5-7 minute talks by the anthropology faculty will highlight aspects of the discipline including research projects, field work, career paths, and other opportunities. There will be discussion and question/answer time following the talks. Light refreshments will be served!
