We're open September 5, 2026 9-11 AM. Free admission. You can do a quick walk through to the bathrooms or take your time and get the one hour tour and learn a little about the history of firefighting in New England.

Saturday, August 29 we will be open from 9-11 in the morning. Free admission and a bit of Firefighting history. Fox example did you know that during the Civil Warr, Hingham's Extinguisher fire engine put out a massive fire in Hingham Square? The trucks has been restored and is now in the Fire Museum?

After an early morning walk in Bare Cove Park, stop in and visit. the Bare Cove Fire Museum. We will be open Saturday, August 22, 2026 in the morning from 9-11. The Fire Museum has this display put together by Ranger MacMillan to highlight the use of Bare Cove Park during WWII. His museum is open Sunday September 23, 10-1 and Both are Free admission.

For nearly 20 years, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and Domino's Pizza have teamed up during Fire Prevention Week (Oct. 4-10, 2026) to help make sure homes have working smoke alarms. 🍕🚒

All fire departments that sign up in August to locally implement this fun, impactful program will be entered into a sweepstakes, where three fire departments will be randomly selected to win a FREE “FPW in a Box - Medium” toolkit.

After an early morning walk in Bare Cove Park, stop in and visit. The Bare Cove Fire Museum will be open Saturday, August 15, 2026 in the morning from 9-11. The official tours starts with the story of the 1802 Precedent and moves through fire history to the 1935 Ahrens Fox pumper. Or you can skip the tour and wander around at your leisure. Free admission.

Not only are we open Saturday, August 1, 2026 from 9AM to 11AM. The South Shore Model Railroad Museum is open too. We are free to all. Check out our early fire alarm box when you visit.

The Bare Cove Fire Museum will be open Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 9AM to 11AM. Come check out the original Torrent Firehouse sign. The one that is on the closed West Hingham Torrent Firehouse is a beautiful replica. We have free admission in the Fire Museum and indoor plumbing.

Drop in Saturday, July 18, 2026, in the morning 9-11 and see this wonderful Deluge hand tub. Built in Hingham Center, she is my favorite piece. Free admission but we will take donations.
