I recently completed this gorgeous sorrel mare commission and I’m very proud with how she looks! We ran into some issues with this model being super lumpy, so I had to experiment with some clay and sand paper 😆 it ended up looking amazing! The hair details on her face almost look real!

I finally finished this beautiful red gelding! This Breyer model might be one of my favorites to paint 😍 while working on the bands in the mane it reminded me of when I would band my horse’s mane for shows ☺️

I tried some new techniques with this custom, and I’m very happy with how it turned out!

Appaloosas and roans are the most difficult coats to paint when you’re doing hair-by-hair techniques. Combine the 2 and you’ve got one heck of a challenge!

This gorgeous Appaloosa is going to look STUNNING when he is done! I don’t get to paint many appys, so this commission is very exciting for me! I love a good challenge. It motivates me to learn more and more about how to build the colors right and enhance the realism.
