Morning Yoga w/ Kim is back on October 21 at 9 AM.

Start your Wednesday mornings with movement, mindfulness, and balance.

This welcoming yoga class combines gentle stretches, flowing poses, and mindful breathing to energize your body, calm your mind, and refresh your spirit for the week ahead.

$5 for Center Members, $10 for Non Members. Mats and blocks are provided, but you are free to bring your own.

The City of Hollywood has cancelled the October 17 Hollywood Art Walk due to the expected inclement. Our 5 PM Curated Tour will also be cancelled. Stay safe out there.

Join us TONIGHT for our inaugural Gold Coast Jazz at the Center session. Nicole Yarling will lead a jazz quartet ro soothe your soul.

Entry includes a beverage of your choice.

FREE ARTS DAY. Join us on Sunday, October 18 from 12-3 PM, featuring artist Harumi Abe. Create mini sculptures using air-dry clay in this hands-on activity inspired by the natural world.

Participants will use their imagination to create an original sculpture inspired by plants, animals, and other living beings. Drawing inspiration from Abe’s artwork, guests will combine observation and creativity to invent their own unique imaginary creature.

Come explore the Fall Exhibitions in the galleries, create art, meet the artist, and enjoy a creative afternoon at the Hollywood Art and Culture Center — all at no cost.

All ages and skill levels are welcome.

About the Artist
Harumi Abe is a Japanese-born artist whose landscape paintings explore evolving environments, identity, memory, and our relationship with nature. Raised in Tokorozawa, Japan, she has lived in South Florida for more than two decades, drawing inspiration from both the landscapes of her birthplace and the vibrant ecosystems of her adopted home.

Her work has been exhibited throughout South Florida and beyond and is held in notable public and private collections. Abe has received the South Florida Cultural Consortium Grant and Sustainable Arts Foundation Award and has participated in artist residencies at Oolite Arts, Vermont Studio Center, and the Everglades Artist-in-Residence program.

Working from her home studio in Hollywood, Florida, Abe continues to create work that weaves together memory, place, and the impermanence of the natural world.
