Distractions. Who recognizes this tail?

There is something quite lighthearted but tricky in this collage: a cartoon animation classic hides within it. It represents the idea of distraction as an obsession in which we respond daily, whether it be in need to forget something or by being overly stimulated by advanced technologies.

When appreciating this artwork , our eyes automatically focus on the distraction, the disruptive element (Tom's tail), ignoring the attractive colors and the geometry forming the composition.

Fearless

Regarding one of his sculptures Michelangelo said: “I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free.”

Three things I am grateful for today:

🍁 My husband. I appreciate his PATIENCE 😂😂😂, but above all his support when I decided to start this business inspired by my passion for art.

🍁 Changes. The forced pause that 2020 brought, gave me the opportunity to structure, value, learn from mistakes, build and understand what I want and what I don’t.

🍁 People. Nice and good people who crossed my life this year.

Tres cosas por las que estoy agradecida hoy:

🍁 Mi esposo. Agradezco su PACIENCIA 😂😂😂, pero sobre todo su apoyo incondicional cuando decidí empezar este emprendimiento inspirado en mi pasión por el arte.

🍁 Cambios. La pausa obligada que trajo el 2020 me dio la oportunidad de estructurar, valorar, aprender de mis errores, construir y entender lo que quiero y lo que no.

Eclectic Décor.

This is an atmosphere with a “Menina” in a classical space (montage). The idea here is that you can realize how well it adapts to any scenario and how well it looks in a contrast of styles.

Let’s talk about Barriers

We installed this piece of the Barrier series by Paul Amundaraín in a nice ocean-view apartment.

Barrier invites reflection because the audience reflects itself in it. It invites us to move through various scenarios to face different realities and question our own emotional and social boundaries, as well as our capacity for adaptation.

In the pictures, you will be able to watch how the piece changes its color according to the illumination and even how it reflects the blue of the sea.

Instalamos esta obra de la serie Barrier de Paul Amundarain en un apartamento con vista al mar en Key Biscayne.

Barrier es una obra que invita a la reflexion pues el espectador puede verse reflejado en ella. Invita a movernos en diversos escenarios para enfrentar diferentes realidades y cuestionar nuestros propios limites emocionales y sociales, asi como nuestra capacidad de adaptacion.

En las fotos podras observar como la obra cambia de color de acuerdo a la ilimunacion e incluso como refleja el azul del mar.

Have you ever seen any piece of art and the first thing that comes to your mind is this?

Well, this is actually quite normal.
⠀
Art can be very complex and requires some knowledge at times, but that doesn't mean that you can't understand it and enjoy it.
⠀
In the first place, we recommend you to take a good look at it and then ask yourself if you like what you see. If the answer is yes, then evaluate if you like the composition, if you find it harmonic, and if you like the colors – then again, if the answer is yes... The next step is to do some research. Ask around about the artist and the circumstances that led him to such a paint. If you are in a museum or gallery, there is usually a description of the piece. If that is not the case, you can resort to your cell phone (we all usually have one) and google all you would like to know. Once done, have another look at it and this time it is quite likely that you will see it in a different light as everything will begin making sense to you... No luck? Then proceed to take a look of the next one.

Just relax and enjoy the process. You can do this every time you visit an art gallery (admission is free) and this way you will be giving yourself the chance to learn something new and discover what your style is.
