What happens when art becomes a bridge between people? ✨🌎

On May 17th, WMODA invites the community to Shining a Light on Connection — a day dedicated to creativity, unity, and shared expression in honor of International Museum Day.

Experience breathtaking glass art installations, the “Mega Kaleidoscope” mural by Allison Eden, interactive kaleidoscopes with Alan Tinter, a collective community toast, and the closing celebration of Amulets of Light by artist Chelsea Rousso.

From over 1,000 vibrant glass colors to stories of solidarity and connection, this event celebrates the power of art to bring people together across perspectives and generations.

Nature has always been the ultimate muse — and this week, we felt it. 🌿✨

Thank you to everyone who joined us for a truly special Walk-in Wednesday! Lester Monzon guided us through the earth-inspired worlds of Chihuly and Paul Stankard, and the incomparable Anna Paola Cibin shared her stunning work inspired by the Venetian Lagoon. We are so grateful for the community that shows up and makes mornings like this so special. 🌊

Moments like these remind us why art matters. Thank you for being part of it. 💚

Celebrate Earth Day at WMODA next Wednesday, April 22! 🌍

In honor of Earth Day, our beloved Walk-in Wednesday takes on a special nature-themed focus this week. Starting at 11:00am, expert Gallery Guide Lester Monzon will lead visitors through the galleries, celebrating the beauty and artistry of the Fired Arts as inspired by Mother Earth. 🌿🔥

We are also delighted to welcome a very special guest — artist Anna Paola Cibin, who will speak about her exquisite silk-velvet paintings of sea life, each one inspired by the rich and vibrant world of the Venetian lagoon. 🌊🎨

Walk-in Wednesday is included with your museum admission — no reservations required, no pressure, just an incredible way to spend a Wednesday morning surrounded by stunning art.
