The 4th-graders are coming to tour the museum on Monday! We could use a few more volunteers for that day (approximately 12:30-2:00), so if you’d be willing to help supervise and guide kids around the museum, let us know!

Mark your calendars for our spring cleaning day on Saturday, May 16, from 10 AM-4 PM! We'll be cleaning inside the three buildings and cleaning up the grounds outside. If you can help at all that day, we'd love to have you join us for however long you're able to.

PCHS members receive a subscription to our newsletter, have voting privileges at our annual meeting, and are eligible to serve on the board of directors. Membership funds help sponsor special activities and programs and are used to help purchase needed items for the preservation of the collection housed at the Phillips County Museum.

Thank you so much to everyone who came to our 50th anniversary celebration last night. The turnout was overwhelming. There were a lot of new faces at the museum, and a lot of old, familiar ones, too, and it was so great to see everyone there. We appreciate all of the support and hope to be around for another 50-plus years to preserve and showcase the history of this place we all call home.
If you’re interested in becoming a member of the historical society, for a limited time you can still get a membership for the rest of 2025 and through all of 2026 with a single $5 annual dues payment. Don’t forget about our 50th anniversary celebration today! Come on by anytime between 5-9 PM for burgers and hot dogs, a watermelon-eating contest, and games for all ages. It is a little cloudy today, but we’re still planning to be there as long as it’s not pouring rain at 5:00!
