Stacy Caldwell recent paintings have a subdued luminous palette of mossy greens, yellows and greys.. and capture quiet moments when the world is still and animals float along in silence or in pairs. Not all artists reflect the place they live. But many do. We are formed by the land and the time we inhabit. Stacy, in her daily practice of sketches and paintings brings us into this space where we can imagine standing on a hilltop watching the clouds roll by. Stacy lives and paints in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where she inherited a love of the fields, hills, rivers and streams from generations of Mennonite farmers. Come visit Pulp to see all of Stacy’s work. We are open Friday, Saturday, Sunday 11-5pm or by appt.
