Lately, I’ve been working with clay and creating some pieces I truly love. But when I stop to think about it, I realize I’m creating so much more than art.

I’m creating opportunities. Creating connections. Creating community.

Because of the talented vendors and incredible artists I’ve met since opening the studio, I’ve learned new skills, tried things I never imagined and continue to grow as an artist.

I’m incredibly grateful for every person who has shared their knowledge, encouraged my creativity and become part of this community. What a gift it is to keep learning—and to spend my days creating. 💛

A second-generation artist inspired by the natural beauty of Northern New York and the Finger Lakes, David Sellers creates striking landscapes, seascapes and wildlife pieces.

His work blends traditional fine-art techniques with digital photography and thoughtful enhancements, creating a unique mixed-media perspective on the scenes that capture his attention.

His collection is now on display in the studio foyer, and I can’t wait for you to experience it in person! 💛

Rebecca is an Ecstatic Dance and Meditation Guide as well as an Oracle Reader. Through these practices, she encourages people to connect with their truest selves, strengthen their voices and welcome more confidence and joy into their lives.

A mother and daughter who regularly attend classes together stopped into the studio today for one more creative moment before her daughter leaves for college.

They chose to spend it sitting side by side, painting pottery and simply enjoying that time together.

The pottery will be beautiful—but I have a feeling the memory they made today will mean even more. 💛

This is what I hope Jody Baker Studio will always be: a place to slow down, connect and make moments that stay with you.
