Step back in time with us! Starting this Saturday, May 23, The History Museum is kicking off our seasonal Historic Walking Tours.

Our journey begins in the lobby of the beautifully restored Lightwell Hotel, next to the chess tables. While you’re there, you can catch a glimpse of the historic 1937 Monarch piano, originally purchased by Ola M. Bell (the first woman elected to the Hood River City Council), which was donated to the museum in 2025.

From the stories of early downtown architecture to the stories of past business owners and influential locals, our tour guides will bring the past to life!

When: Saturdays, May 23 – September 5 (No tour on July 4)
Time: 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM
Start Location: Lightwell Hotel Lobby Tickets: $15 (Includes complimentary admission to the museum)

Spaces are limited, so secure your spot online at www.hoodriverhistorymuseum.org or purchase in person at the museum. We hope to see you there!
