An 1800's village with a one-room school house (Mercer School), log cabin (proprietors The Sewing Sophia's), outdoor bread oven, blacksmith shop, artisan shop, doctor's office, general store, oil well pump house, bank barn, and displays including a 1920's kitchen and parlor.

The annual Evening of Music ... and More! Friday, December 5. Music by a variety of local musicians, basket raffles, live auction of many artisan pieces, and a holiday cookie sale. Food and refreshments available. Doors open @ 6:30 p.m.

Community Christmas. 5 -7 p.m., Friday, December 19. Walk through the historical village and enjoy the live nativity, story in the cabin, and Santa. Refreshments at the Grange. Boxed Christmas cookies for sale.

Be sure to visit the historical village on Saturday during the Beaver Valley Antique Equipment & Crafts Show at the Hookstown Fairgrounds! We will staff the village beyond our normal hours if possible.

We will be open daily from noon to dusk during the Hookstown Fair, and we look forward to seeing you! Special events at...

We will be open daily from noon to dusk during the Hookstown Fair, and we look forward to seeing you! Special events at the village: Old-Time Revival at the Pavilion, Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. The 63rd Civil War Reenactors group, Friday and Saturday. Tour the village, watch blacksmiths and other artisans at work, sample some baked goods from the outdoor bread oven, learn about daily life in the late 1800s and early 1900s.
