Our museum is dedicated to the brave men and women throughout our country’s history who have defended our great nation, at home and abroad, that we may live in freedom. The goal of the Regional Military Museum is to commemorate their sacrifices made in behalf of all Americans - past, present, and future. We are ever inspired by the dedication of our local citizens who have so generously contribute

d to our endeavor, and to our museum staff and volunteers who have so tirelessly worked to amass, authenticate, and display our many military objects and artifacts. We strive to make your visit through our museum an enjoyable and memorable experience. Our vehicles really run, our weapons really fire, our library acts as a place of research for both family military history as well as educational instruction. Our veteran volunteers offer first-hand accounts of what it was really like to lay one’s life on the line to protect our loved ones and our way of life. We are constantly updating and expanding our collections and hope that you will return often to browse through our museum, our library, and our website.

Jessica Domangue, House of Representative, elected official, presented a copy of a resolution for the museum and the family in memory of C J Christ.

She said, "Terrebonne Parish’s aviation program would not be where it is today with the leadership and vision of Mr. CJ Christ and we at the Louisiana State Legislature are humbled to honor him with this."
