Paul English Music presents: A NIGHT IN THE LIFE (of the Studio Musician) The event will take place this Wednesday the 11th at 7:30pm, doors open at 6:30pm. Tickets are available on our website, link in our bio. Complimentary snacks and beverages, with free parking including.

We don’t always play jazz, but when we don’t, you can usually find us in a recording studio playing for various artists in just about any kind of music you can think of.

For over 20 years, Chris Gardner has shared his music with his fans, entertaining across the country from NY to LA, including in his hometown Houston, Texas. His natural ability to envision situations common to us all and transform them into meaningful lyrics and music gives the listener a warm, comfortable and familiar feeling.

Johnnie Faye is releasing her debut album of jazz standards, “The Fratelli’s Tapes Vol. 1”, in honor of the locale of her longest residency, Fratelli’s Ristorante in Houston, and for the fans and friends who supported her there. You will hear the sounds and style of the infamous Rat Pack of the 1950s and ‘60s, Brazilian bossa nova, torch songs and jazz of the big band era.

The Musicians:
Natalie Broussard, Voice 🎤
Paul English, Piano 🎹
David Caceres, Saxophone 🎷
Brennen Nase, Guitar 🎸
Thomas Helton, Bass 🎸
Tim Solook, Drums 🥁

Hear these stellar musicians play everyday standards in a very non-everyday manner. Up close and personal, Intimate, and Cozy. Even the musicians on stage might not always know what’s coming next. Join us for some sweet sounds, a look behind the curtain and perhaps a smattering of ruminationous parlance on the nature of creativity and improvisation in music.

Hope to see you soon!!
