DuBose Gallery A Small Gallery with an Historic Legacy Originally named the James Bute Gallery, Ben DuBose later renamed it to reflect his legacy.

One of the oldest Texas galleries and one of the first in Houston, the DuBose Gallery was a leading name in art through the 1950s-1970s. While it has gone through many hands since then, including the iconic David Adickes, it is now being revived again by our team to help preserve the history of this pivotal Texas gallery.
