The Markos Group The Markos Group is part of HCAA. Life portrait painting every Thursday evening. This is a portrait lab and there is no instruction. Paid models receive payment.

The Markos Group paints amateur and sometimes professional models or VIPs from the community. Anyone with a strong interest in painting portraits can join to paint in a casual but dedicated environment. There is a small fee to attend. Bring your materias to sketch, paint, or draw. The studio has easels and chairs. Artists are invited to donate their painting for selection by the model at the end o

f the session. This is for amateur models only. Models are guided to achieve a pose acceptable to the artists. If you can sit for 20 minutes without wiggling or talking then we can work with you. There is a brief break between sittings. These are typically not figure poses or nudes. Let us know if you are interested in joining our group or if you would like to pose.
