We planned to open an off-site exhibition of new paintings by Matt Kleberg in San Antonio on April 1st. Though we had to cancel the show because of the pandemic, the paintings were picked up from NY and delivered to the gallery just before the "stay at home" orders were enacted in each city. We decided that the show must go on.

Because the gallery is temporarily closed to the public, we are pleased to present you with an online catalog that documents this beautiful body of work, and provides a virtual tour through the installation in Houston. The Amon Carter Museum of American Art's curator, Maggie Adler, gamely joined us for a conversation with Matt Kleberg on Zoom--a transcription of which appears in the catalog linked here: http://hirambutler.com/flipbook/view/matt-kleberg-holding-pattern
