As our Treasurer and a successful business owner, Adriana brings dedication, accountability, and a passionate heart into everything she does. Happy Birthday to Iris — our VP of MuxerHTX, Boss Lady co-founder of the Frida Festival, co-founder of MuxerHTX Nonprofit organization, festival organizer, talented muralist, gifted ofrenda artist, creative force, and one of the brilliant minds behind our nonprofit. She is the heart behind so much of what we do and the one who helps make every event a success.

Two decades ago, we dreamed of a space where art and community could thrive under the inspiration of Frida Kahlo. Fast forward to today: Houston is officially Frida-central! 🤘🤘

While the MFAH and the Houston Ballet celebrate her global legacy this month, we are celebrating the local heart that kept this flame alive. Our festival has grown into a beautiful familia of creators, and we’re paying it forward by supporting the next generation with 6 scholarships for our graduating seniors.
