BAYOU CITY STEWARDS NAMED #1 IN TEXAS

Glasstire counts down the Top Five art events in Texas, and Bayou City Stewards: America From Our Perspective has been named the #1 exhibition on its August 13 list.

Presented by the Houston Museum of African American Culture, Bayou City Stewards brings together visual art, objects, archives, and storytelling from Houston-based artists, collectors, and cultural stewards to examine and reframe narratives of American life through Black perspectives.

The exhibition continues to invite reflection, dialogue, and response from those who experience it.
