Hello friends of D’Arcy /Simpson Gallery,
After 71/2 years, Michael and I have decided to say goodbye to our space at 409 Warren St and take a winter break. We have had so much fun, shown so many brilliant artists, loved our community in Hudson, made wonderful friends and most of all, have learned so much. This project started with a walk down Warren Street looking for a place to show Michael’s work for a few months and it turned into a great adventure—and discovery of the thing we want to do for a long time. What a privilege it has been to be surrounded by art, artists, and art lovers in this beautiful area. But, we are taking a beat to think about the next step. Thank you to all of you for your support and encouragement and advice and love over the years. Thank you most of all to the artists that trusted and partnered with us and made our little space one of the best and coolest galleries around! We will see you again! Please stop by Saturday December 13 for our last reception in this beautiful space. We will be there 1-5pm.
