What a day for the Head of the Weir River Race! ☀️🚣

Bright blue skies, light winds, and a falling tide made for ideal racing conditions!

Our heartfelt thanks to the many volunteers who make this event possible, from registrars, starters, and timers to food service (with special kudos to Hull Nantasket Rotary), harbormasters, and chase boat crews. And thanks to all the rowers who traveled from near and far to compete, along with the spectators who came out to cheer everyone on!

The countdown is on for the Hull Lifesaving Museum's Head of the Weir River Race, happening this Saturday, October 24!

☀️ And the weather forecast is looking fantastic! Sunny skies and winds of just 2–9 mph are predicted for race day. What a beautiful day to be out on the water!

Come on down to Pemberton Point this morning (Sunday)to carve some pumpkins for Hull Lifesaving Museum’s Pumpkin Trail which starts this Friday and Saturday. Thank you to South Shore Neptunes for carving pumpkins underwater, Hull High School Girls Basketball team and Point Allerton Coast Guard. Big shout out to Stop and Shop in Cohasset for donating the pumpkins.🎃
