Pay online to secure your passport, then pick up your passport on November 27th at Huntingdon’s Light the Night (tree-lighting) or November 28th between 10:30 AM and 3:00 PM at the Blair Chapel (one of the participating locations!)

Tour the participating locations between 11 AM and 5 PM on Saturday, November 28th. Because this is also Small Business Saturday, we encourage you to stop by some of Huntingdon’s amazing local coffee shops, bakeries and shops to show your support!

In a little over one month, A Victorian Christmas will be taking place in downtown Huntingdon! Join us on November 28th to tour several beautiful, historic properties. Next week is our last special, spooky Movie at the Mansion! We hope you will spread the word about our monthly Movies at the Mansion, and if you didn’t make it this month, we hope to have you join us soon for another special showing of a film in our Art Deco theatre!

The Blair Chapel is a valuable piece of Huntingdon County History, tucked unsuspectingly in Blair Park. Blair Chapel served our town as the first racial integrated Sunday School, a function which it continued to have until the 1970s. The Blair Chapel is owned and preserved by the Historic Building Preservation Foundation.

We want to take a moment to thank everyone who has come to the Woods Brown Mansion for a tour. The Historic Building Preservation Foundation is honored to show you all through the 1874 mansion. We love meeting new people, and we love when our previous tours return with new guests! These special ladies enjoyed their tour on Friday, just as much as we enjoyed having them.

Tour the Woods Brown Mansion for yourself any Friday at 10 AM or 2 PM! Reservations are encouraged, but not required.

On November 28th, several beautiful, Victorian houses will open their doors to the public. You will be welcomed to tour portions of these homes, enjoy their holiday decor, and learn more about the history of the buildings and their architecture. Admission to the buildings will be granted by showing the home owner your Victorian Christmas Passport, which will be available for sale the day of the event, or for pre-sale (coming soon). All proceeds from the passports benefit the Historic Building Preservation Foundation and its mission. For more information, feel free to call our director at (814) 644-7447.
