Here's 3 more Cats Meow decorative pieces that are part of the Hurlock-North Dorchester Heritage Museum . Do you recognize them? And while the museum has these from Hurlock and Vienna, were they also produced for other towns in the ND area? We would love to add them to our collection.

The museum needs your help in identifying those photographed. Here's a class photo from Hurlock Elementary School for the 3rd grade class of 1954-55. Were you a member of this class? If so, which one? Do recognize someone? Mother, father, friend, classmate?
Your help is greatly appreciated. Please tag with the corresponding number.

The museum recently recieved an intact calendar from Spears Hardware, which was located in Vienna, for the year 1972. Do you know where the store was located in Vienna? Do you know what year the business started or closed? Do you remember the owners? All and any information would be greatly appreciated.

Photo from the past:

Located at 204 Academy St., the building to the left in the picture was a jewelry store with an attached residence to the side and rear. It was destroyed by fire in 2014.

The church, named Unity M.P. Church, was established in 1888 under the pastorship of Rev. R. S. Williamson. This church merged with Washington Chapel and they held their 1st joint service on May 24 1953 at what is now called Unity Washington United Methodist Church.

The church pictured is now the Greater Full Gospel Church.

As we slowly but steadily inch our way to opening the museum, here is another artifact we recently picked up. It's a crate from the American Stores cannery in Hurlock Maryland. Did you work there, or know someone who did? Do you know where the cannery was or have pictures or other information to share? Please reach out and share so this history can be passed on to future generations. Thank you.
