Reminding Idaho Falls of its roots🦅🪨😂

Did you know Idaho Falls used to be called Eagle Rock? In 1891 the community voted to change the name, hoping a new one would revive the town.

Unfortunately this one’s not for sale 🚙💸

This Model T, one of the last ever made, once sat in the showroom of Hansen Ford in Idaho Falls. The dealership’s owner, Farrel Hansen Sr., was a businessman and farmer who left a lasting mark on Idaho agriculture. After Hansen’s untimely death in 1949, his wife Lily assumed possession of the dealership. Many years later, Farrel and Lily’s son, John D. Hansen, the former state senator, restored the Ford Model T to authentic factory condition in time to drive it in the Idaho Falls bicentennial parade.

We are exciting to announce that our next traveling exhibition will be "Galileo. Scientist. Astronomer. Visionary.!" 🌙☀️🔭

This touring exhibition showcases Galileo Galilei’s significant contributions to science, particularly his impact on our understanding of physics, astronomy, and the scientific method. Come explore the fearless discoveries that forever changed our understanding of the universe! "Galileo. Scientist. Astronomer. Visionary." will be on display October 3, 2026 - January 10, 2027.
