In recognition of Labor Day, the museum will be closed on Monday, September 1, 2025.

It has been a fun month here at the Iona Historical Museum. We hosted the Iona Elementary kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade classes for a field trip. It was so much fun to see the young children of our community enjoy time at the museum. Thank you Iona Elementary for your enthusiasm and smiles, even during some rain and thunderstorms! We also hosted an evening of Iona history,music and refreshments. A special THANK YOU to Clarissa and Vivian Gifford for sharing their musical talents with us. It was fun to have a few of our community friends together and we hope to see more of you at our next event. We would also like to THANK Zak and the City of Iona, as well as a group of ladies that volunteered their time, for their help in keeping our museum grounds and building looking good! Thank you friends!!
